Estraderm patch

Hi all
I am in the UK and 3 days ago was put on Estraderm mx 0.075 patch because previously on 2 mg tablets not effective (negligable estradiol and high FSH). I know it is early days but would like to know when I might expect to see improvement. I had a TAH/BSO at end of Feb this year and had complications which has slowed my recovery down significantly but my main issue now is hormone balance. I have been absent from work for 6 months and would like to return when possible but can't see light at the end of the tunnel.
The flashes/chills , joint pain and exhaustion are getting me down since I have experienced them quite severely shortly after my surgery.
Any feedback would be most welcome.

Cheers
Bankie

Re: Estraderm patch

Hmmm...wonder why they didn't put you on 1.0 patch?

Anyway, I don't know if I am unique but I usually see a difference within 24 hours. Not necessarily the end result, but a difference.

Then about 2 weeks I can get a good idea.

Altho they say to give it a full 8 weeks each time you change anything.

Re: Estraderm patch

I saw a difference by day 3 but had been told to give it a month. I hope you start seeing an improvement soon. Also, be sure your patch is sticking on well, to be sure you get the full effects from it. Just a thought.

Re: Estraderm patch

Thanks Greyown
A little bit better today. At least I am not crying uncontrollably but still have some anxiety and fatigue. I will stick with it for a few weeks and hopefully will be improved. Presumably I am still having the wobbles because have gone from virtually no Estrogen in my body (determined by lab tests) to suddenly introducing some.
Time will tell.

Many thanks
