TAH Still in pain 6 mths after op

I had my tah in jan 2012, had 6 week check still in pain, tummy really sore to touch, and hobbling about. Had further hospital check six weeks later, again still in pain, pulling feeling, have to use my partner to turn over in bed, hurts when bend over or sit to forward. Had scan and X-ray all clear but said it could be scar tissue. Well 6 mths later and I'm still in pain, pulling feeling and tummy sore to touch, can't wear jeans or anything to tight. Getting really frustrated now anyone know what's wrong?

I'm sorry you are having so much pain. If you can't get answers from your doctor, maybe it's time to find another doctor. You should not be in pain this far out. Good luck and I hope you can get some relief.

I agree that you shouldn't be in that much pain this far out. Talk to a doctor and see if maybe massage might help if it is an issue of scar tissue.

I don't think it is normal to have this pain so far out. I would find another doc and get another opinion. There has to be a reason for the pain and you need to know what it is. Sorry you are having such a rough time.

Hospital appointment on wed although was close to going to A&E yesterday as was in excruciating pain in lower abdomen and on left hand side, still frightened of going to toilet as I have pain right across similar to what I ha when I had my operation bowels are playing up to and pain killers dont work. I thought having this operation would make me feel like a new person, but it doesn't appearing to be that way .
