Estrogen and testosterone?

Has anyone out there taken this combo? I'll be having a TLH July 30 and have already discussed taking ERT.

But the testosterone sounds like it might be a good idea. More energy, clarity of thinking, increased libido. I could definitely use all of that!

Does it really do all that? I'm assuming I won't grow a beard, but I sure could use a sex life :-)

It's best to wait and see what your needs will be. Some women need testosterone after, some don't. Everyone is different. I did need it after,but not immediately, and no longer do.

I would give it at least six months, than if you're feeling like you are low in testosterone, have your total and free T levels tested before supplementing with it. Yes, some symptoms of excess T are irreversible, such as deepening of the voice and male pattern baldness.
