Re: 13 weeks and frustrated

Sorry you are having problems. Unfortunately it takes longer than what the doctor says. I was not ready at 6 weeks for intimacy when he gave the go ahead, more like 12 weeks to start back. Also, we all heal differently time wise. We did have major surgery inside and it can take longer to get some of this working like it should. Most of it is in shock from the trauma of the surgery.

You might also ask your doctor about estrogen cream to soften up the vaginal tissue.

Re: 13 weeks and frustrated

I agree with the healing thing, we don't all heal on the same time frame. I'm 10 wks po and just now feeling somewhat "normal" down there. The bladder spasms finally stopped and to touch the clitoris isn't irritating as much as it was. I think as your body heals sensations will come back to being more normal. At least that seems to be my case.

Re: 13 weeks and frustrated

Topical estrogen and topical testosterone either one, or both together, can help you recover sensation in your clitoris. Discuss it with your doctor. Did you have endometriosis? You say sex hurt before. If you did have endo, your doctor may have missed some implants.
