3 weeks post-op from laparoscopic hysterectomy and feeling crappy
Help! I feel like a total loser. I am 44 years old, very fit (work out 6 days/wk) and active. Had my surgery on 5/26/12 and still feel totally exhausted, a lot of pelvic pain and bleeding. Went back to work yesterday - a sedentary but stress job (I'm an attorney) and could only make it half day. Doc said I could go back to work after 2 weeks if I felt up to it. She isn't concerned about the bleeding.
I've heard all these stories about gals feeling great, no meds, etc. 2-3 weeks. I feel like a whiny baby and a failure. I thought I'd bounce back easily so I'm frustrated and depressed.
