Smile - Interstim Stage 1 tomorrow Interstim Stage 1 tomorrow

The day is finally almost here. Tomorrow I get to begin Stage 1 of my Interstim therapy. I'm hopeful that it will put a stop to my bladder urgency/leakage issues that have plagues me for a long time. Anyone else had this done?

Re: Interstim Stage 1 tomorrow

Best info about it is on Medtronics website. Mine was done in my urologist' office. It has been amazing how it has stopped the leakage and urge incontinence. The stage 1 is inconvenient for sure, so my urologist wanted me to stay home until it's removed (in my case that was from Wednesday until this coming Tuesday - 6 days). A little painful where the wires go into my skin. But I'm eager to have the permanent interstim done now. Unfortunately I'll be back to wearing pads after the wires are removed Tuesday, until I have my permanent stage done.
