Having Hard Time Registering

Hi. I thought I was registered but I got a notice saying that I'm not. I know I need to put my surgery date in but where it asks for it it says something like "only had your uterus removed" and I had everything removed.

Please help.

If you're posting here then you are registered!

However, some forums require that you've had a hysterectomy in order to use them; that "entry" information is taken from the surgery date entered in your profile.

The message you're seeing is just confirming the fact you've had a hysterectomy (removal of uterus) and not a different surgery such as a BSO, for instance, where the uterus was kept. A hysterectomy only involves the uterus; a partial leaves the cervix in place, whereas a total removes the entire uterus including the cervix. Removal of the ovaries is a separate procedure altogether, although can be carried out at the same time if required. Your surgery was a LAVH (total hysterectomy because the cervix was removed) plus BSO (bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy).

So, please go ahead and enter the surgery date because you have had a hysterectomy. Hope that helps!
