PamSue yesterday I was having chills like a fever but no fever. Friday night I woke up in a pool of sweat. I called my doctor and she ordered a blood test to check my hormones. I kept both of my ovaries.
My hubby drove me to the doctor on Saturday and I got a blood test. Hopefully tomorrow I will no what is going on. Maybe call your doctor and tell the nurse about your chills and sweating.
Just read your post about being in the ER I hope all goes well for you.
Hang in there.

Thanks! I have now been checked in for observation. The doc inserted some type of gel to stop the bleeding and if that works I may be able to go home today. I sure do hope it works!

Pamsue, thoughts and prayers are with you. Sending healthy thoughts. Please keep us posted.

Cindy_Elliott - It does help to lean forward and with the BM I used colace three times a day and Gas X with every meal. I am 12 days today and both are getting better. I also use the reverse pressure afterwards when it hurt by putting my hand down there. Sometimes that was all that helped me.

That is an excellent way to describe it and yes I have that feeling. It is not constant but I do get it quit a bit. I was thinking it is swelling and if I take an Advil it does help it a little. It must take the swelling out. It is not painful, just uncomfy feeling, sometimes feels like something will fall out.

Day 12 post op and I used the belly binder to go to the store with my DH shopping. It felt good to get out but weird to not be the one filling the cart. I do tire very easily still and need to increase my walking.

I still get the pressure of something up there daily. The BM pain has pretty much subsided and I maintain taking Colace and Gas X, which I think helps.

Yesterday I had clear fluid leaking, that is not as much today. We'll see if it increases as I walk more.

Pain level, I really don't have any pain, just random discomfort and mainly up inside the vagina and Bella102 described it perfect, it feels like a crooked tampon is in there.

My belly incisions only hurt if I accidentally put pressure on them by side lying or something.

I still have swelly belly... that I think plans to hang around for a while and really does make me look super pregnanat.

Overall I am thrilled with how things are going.

My sex drive has kicked into major overdrive... which is nice to have it back being I was so scared to do anything before the surgery with the bleeding and prolapse issues. I am being good but it does feel really weird inside the vagina when you become aroused. I wonder, is that the swelling on swelling? Does anyone else get that?

Prayers to you, PamSue and love. Hope you get your answers, treatment and are back home resting soon. Hugs.

Hope you get some answers soon and try not to worry!

I had a pretty good day today, although sitting up straight is an issue. I feel like everything is getting pinched or pulled. But that is easily rememdied by reclining (aww too bad for me ). It is still hard to not do things.

To all-hang in there! Time is our friend.

I had an episode Friday night where I became very hot, face flushed then chills. I covered up and went to bed. Awoke later and felt normal temp. I was told that sometimes our ovaries get shocked. We also had extreme heat. I got a terrible case of prickly heat (first time since I was a kid). I'm feeling a little emotional and irritable, too. Otherwise, doing really good. Walked a mile and half today. Have taken some breaks but much more back to feeling good. Take care.

Woke up bathed in sweat at some bizarre hour. Trouble is so did hubby, so I am not sure who set who off. I'm not too concerned about it yet seeing as so many of you ladies report the same thing.

In better news libido is kicking into high gear. I'm sure some of that is purely because I know I can't have it for a few more weeks yet. I've warned my poor spouse that he won't be able to sit down for a while once I have been given the all clear.
