weird abdominal feeling

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same feeling that I've been having. Twice I have felt like someone is inside me moving furniture around, not really painful but uncomfortable.. Sort of like a baby moving around. Sort of.

I thought at first that it was the gigantic clots breaking loose to fall out, but it's been 3 days since it last happened and no bleeding so far.

I've had a pelvic exam after which the dr said I have a 16 week size uterus and fibroids. I also had a hysterogram/biopsy just this week during which the tech said she didn't see any fibroids and measured my uterus and said it was a normal size.

Since my symptoms seem to match fibroids, I'm guessing that the dr is right and I just need her to look at the ultrasound herself to give me more info.

So, does anyone have any idea, based on this, to explain this weird feeling?

Thanks, Pattie

Re: weird abdominal feeling

I had that feeling occasionally before my hysterectomy and my doctor told me it was most likely gas or stuff moving through my bowels or intestines. I have no idea if she was right or not. I do remember however that it was a very odd feeling! Talk to your doctor and definitely let me know what the outcome is. I am curious as to what mine may have been.

Re: weird abdominal feeling

hi, Thanks for replying. Mine does NOT feel like gas. Lol. It's a totally new feeling just since starting the freaky bleeding.

I guess I've been getting symptoms for awhile without really noticing, like belly growth. Thought I was just getting fatter but the rest of me is fine and I don't eat much.

I've had long periods for years but since they are generally fairly light, I thought that was more of a gravity vs. tipped uterus thing.

I wish my appt. with the dr. was tomorrow. I have to wait til the 12th.
