7 weeks post op

My doc told me to wait 8 weeks before any sexual intercourse. Well, I was hardhead and did it in 7 weeks. It was very painful, my boyfriend had to stop. I started to bleed and severe cramps. Hours later I started having chills and fever that went on for three days. On day 4 I saw a vagina abcess. I have not went to doctor because I am so embarassed for being "hardhead". I have been trying to wait it out. No more fever or chills, very little cramps. However, this abcess has been draining and is very painful. My boyfriend is so angry with me because he listened to me against doc's orders. He feels bad and say its his fault I feel like this. I'm also having mood swings and crying spells. I feel like I am having an outer body experience. Please give me some encouraging words before I go crazy. :-(

Re: 7 weeks post op

(hugs). You are not the only lady who has had sex before the time limit is up and you will not be the last. I think you should talk to your doctor and be seen. I am sure your gyn is not new to this Hun and will be understanding. You may get a little lecture but that is ok This is your health and you need to be seen If need be go to the er but go please. Good luck
