Nope and I reckon it'll do me good to do the trial weekend in my old chair as I'm used to it and it's got a little more weight to it so once I get in the new chair it'll only be easier once I'm used to it going to get my hair cut tomorrow and then possibly lunch at Nando's for my birthday

Happy Birthday Alwyen! Hope you had a great day!

This week has been much better for me than last. Still tire out easily, but making it to 3 or 4 p.m. before it hits at work. Belly not quite as sore.

Re: Recovery Progress Reports for Hysterectomy dates Jul 02-Jul 08,2012

ladies,

I hope you all had a great day today!

Alwyen... I'm glad to hear that you had a good day!!!

jeweldog...I'm happy to hear that you're having a turn around week!! I remember that week 5 was that way for me too. I could only make it about half way through work at that point, but it only got better from there.

robswife1108...did you keep your cervix? If so, it could be a mini-period . Are you going in for a 6 week check up next week? If so, I'd mention it to your then.

I hope that the slower activity on the thread means that you are starting to feel better and slowly moving back into your regular routines. Don't forget to check in with us all to let us know how your follow up appointments are going.

for you all tonight!!!

Week five and doing so much better except my back pain is about the same. Saw my doctor yesterday and he said that I have a lot of inflammation up there so he just suggested for me to keep taking my pain pills and add anaprox twice a day for a week for the inflammation. I am back to working full time and by the end of the day my back is on fire and I am exhausted. I know that it can only get better from here. I am starting to believe there will be and end to this pain and I will get my life back. Hope everyone is recovering well.

Re: Recovery Progress Reports for Hysterectomy dates Jul 02-Jul 08,2012

Very nervous this morning. Having day surgery to remove the stents in both ureters that were severed (by accident) during my hysterectomy. I seem to have healed ok from the corrective surgery by the Urologist, but am still nervous about seeing if everything works properly when the stents removed ( hopefully no scar tissue). I also feel like a big baby because I am fearful that it will hurt.

Hopefully in about 4 hours I will be heading back home "good as new" and starting my final phase of recovery. BTW today I am 5 weeks post op.

All the best to you lovely ladies.
