Re: Don't know what to do!

Hi,
I have also been told that surgery is my only option after very fast deliveries (under 1 hr) and big babies (my son was 9lb12oz).. I have had severe stress incontinence since his birth 9 yrs ago, and am now 42 yrs old.. I have also had recurrent Urinary Tract Infections and am on long term antibiotics to manage this.
I am booked to see the Urogynaecologist tomorrow, but I also need surgery for worsening endometriosis and am wondering which to have fixed first? I haven't had a hysterectomy yet.
Hope you get some answers soon!

Re: Don't know what to do!

Talk to the doctor and ask this question. It is quite possible both can be fixed with the same surgery. Only your doctor can really advise you on this as nobody else knows your full situation. Good luck to you and let us know how your appointment goes.

Re: Don't know what to do!

Thanks for the tip! It turns out the Urogynaecologist I saw today is happy to schedule my bladder repair to be done during my endo surgery as the operating roster for both docs coincides so they can both do their work together . This is a relief for me.. Thanks again . what a great forum !
