no hormones & added 20 pounds help!

i had a total vag hysto in 2011 , i cant seem to take hrt orally it messes with my thyroid meds , which i still havent got straight , i was on 100 mg of synthroid before my hysto , every blood test shows the level is too high so they keep takin the synthroid lower i am at 44 mg {half of my 88 ] i still have the leg cramps , thinnin hair and intolrance to heat , i used to be so cold natured , i am on a vaginal dot daily for dryness , my thyroid was removed in 2009 they left a small part can it start workin i have put on 20 pounds and just discusted i cant seem to get it together i am too tired to get out much and it is so hot please help me is there something i can do thanks

The intolerance to heat, leg cramps, and thinning hair are also symptoms of low estrogen. I'm on thyroid meds too. I'm now using oral estrogen (estrace)and I seem to be doing ok. They do impact eachother and when you change one you have to check the other 6-12 weeks later. It's a delicate balance for sure

Do you see an endocrinologist for your thyroid? Does your Dr. do a full thyroid study (Free T3, Free T4, and TSH)? Has the Dr. done bloodwork to check your estradiol level? What are you using for estrogen replacement?
