Unhappy - Spotting after exercise---have I popped my repaired bladder??? Spotting after exercise---have I popped my repaired bladder???

So I went to the YMCA to get reactivated on Fitlinx and use the weight lifting machines -- but with a 25-30 pound limit on weights. I told the coach that I had had hernia surgery as the reason for limitation. We go all through the machines (not the leg press) -- and it wasn't til after that I noticed he had used 50 pounds on a few of the machines. And I started thinking that, even though the ab crunch machine was on 10 pounds, I should avoid that in the future. So I go ahead and do my usual routine on treadmill, get home, and I have VERY faint spotting on my toilet tissue.

I checked to see if I could feel anything (not internally), but my old Grade 2 cystocele felt like a firm resistance to pressure. Didn't feel anything, but of course, now I'm freaked out, and the doctors office is closed for lunch. I'm not in pain, just feel all weird down there. I've been doing so good lately, walking, and doing light exercising, I hope I haven't compromised myself.

How long ago was your repair? It is not likely that one time would cause a failure, I have read it takes repeating it over time but yes you need to talk to your doctor since all new bleeding should be reported.

Hi Molly -- No more spotting. I called the dr's office (fortunately I have a well-woman check up scheduled for this coming Monday) and spoke with the RN. I had hoped to get in tomorrow for an early check, but they're booked solid. At any rate, she said everything should be okay, call them if any real bleeding or pain, see you Monday kind of thing. I'm going to just lie down and rest with my feet up and not worry. Thanks for the input --- so hard not to overanalyze every sensation and get worried that something's wrong. I'm not trying to become a hardbody, just want to get toned up a bit!
