Sunny Saturday July 14

Happy Bastille Day everyone! It is a celebration of freedom, isn't it?

Had a good walk to the top, then let DH pick us up since was getting Since he's got some age and wears a fur coat in the heat, we only walk so far.

Food included melon, yogurt, green beans and brownies. Dinner will be more of same. Had to deliver brownies to the family and hang with them for a while, cooking prunes and working a puzzle. Busy!

Have a great evening, I hope the weather is good where you are. We are expecting more storms so I'm glad we have done our outside stuff for now.

Re: Sunny Saturday July 14

All!
Back from the Lake I am exhausted. Food was good. Glad I bought the veggie tray as dh and I picked on it on the way up. After we got there we never did go out for dinner. Went out on the for a cruise around the lake, took the rest of the veggie tray with us.

Had a nice day today. Not sure how I got sunburned as I wasn't in the sun that long. I did swim a bit and just had to do the waterslide they had on the dock. Went out on the for a bit but I had already changed to shorts and a tshirt. Guess that was peeking thru that tree I was sitting under most of the day.

Brisket, pickles and beans for lunch. Also had a half of a burger with tomatoe and lettuce on top. That was about it for food.

Dh talked about stopping on the way back for something to eat but I just wanted to get home. I was so tired that nothing really sounded good. I just had some almond cheese for a snack. Too tired for much else.

tomorrow. Geesh, the hamper is full! Dh has to pick roomie up from the airport around 1pm. I'm going to do a turkey on the grill rotissiere for dinner tomorrow. It turns out good.
