Intimacy post-Abdominal Sacral Colpopexy

I'm about 14 weeks post-op Abdominal Sacral Colpopexy. He used mesh and during that surgery, he found erosion from a previous surgery. I was intimate with my boyfriend and he said he felt something sharp on the anterior side of my vagina. I made an appointment for tomorrow to see the gyno who did the surgery.

I don't want another surgery, but I don't want sharp vagina to be normal

Anybody have any words of wisdom? Suggestions?

How did your doc appt go? What did he say? I hope you don't need another surgery.

I have erosion again. I'll find out when surgery is at my next appt in a month.

I'm so sorry! Do they have to use mesh with this surgery? I'm hoping when they do it this time they can skip the mesh. My hugs to you honey, hang in there, you are a work in progress and will soon be better than ever

I've had 2 surgeries where they used mesh...this one will be going in to excise a section of the mesh from the first mesh surgery.

Thank you for the well-wishes! This will be the 4th pelvic floor surgery...and he said I can expect to encounter the prolapsing again. Very frustrating. I'm 30 and have been doing this for 6 years.
