I am so happy to see so many of you posting. I don't think I have ever had this many posts on a Recovery thread this early!!! So glad to know you are feeling up to it!!!
A few things I wanted to remind you....
If your pain medication is not working, please talk to your

I'm sure there is something else they can try.

Staying ahead of the pain is very important. Your doctor wants you to be as comfortable as possible, so make sure you let them know.
I know a lot of you are having some gas pains and they can be HORRIBLE!! Please ask your doctor if you can take some GasX! It really does help. Another thing that really helped me was

(it also helped for BM!!) Walking can also help to get things moving so walk as much as you can, but as LaineyLaine said...don't forget where ever you walk....you have to walk back, so don't over do it.
Please make sure you are drinking plenty of water. This helps with BM and gas as well as other aspects of your healing.
I know some of you are feeling surprisingly well, and that is great! I'm excited for you. Just remember to take it easy,

and don't try to do too much too soon. I know that is easier said than done, but you will be glad you got your rest.
Please, if you haven't had the chance to do so, check out the
Checkpoints for Weeks 1 and 2 to give you an idea of what you may expect this week and next week. There is also a
Video that you might find helpful as well.
Again, I'm so glad so many of you are feeling so well and I'm sorry to those who are having a lot of pain. Just remember, this is just the beginning of your journey and it does take time. Now that you are on the other side, there is light at the end of the tunnel!!!
Sending you all healing thoughts and great
