Hormone blood test...

Hi All!

It's been almost 2 years since my surgery. Since then I've gained about 25 lbs. I'm a pretty healthy eater so I'm baffled why the pounds keep packing on.

I'm having blood work done this Thursday to have ALL my hormone levels checked. In the past someone told me to ask for a very specific blood test...Does anyone have ideas what that might've been?? Or have any other advice on questions for the doctor.

I would also ask that a thyroid panel be done. TSH, T3, T4, Free thyroid and thyroid anti bodies.

As for the hormones, I would think FSH, Estrone, Estradiol, and Estriol. Might as well throw in Progesterone and Testosterone also. It's all one test.

Holy Moly!! lol Can't say I know what most of those are SO I think I'll just print it out your response and just hand it the doctor! lol
