Surgery postponed
I cancelled my surgery, and postponed it until the end of October 2012. I am terrified to have a total hysterectomy, so I researched other alternatives. I found Endovan on the web, and am taking it now for two weeks. I have had a very good two weeks. It is working, to the point of dissolving the endometriosis, and I have had discharge and bleeding, after a month of being clear after my vaginal ablation. the pain is going away, the bloating is going away,I feel GREAT! Please look into this as an alternative to surgery... SEX is wonderful again after 15 years of pain... Peg

Re: Surgery postponed
 ;
I am glad you are feeling better! That is wonderful news!
I hope this does work to be a long term alternative for you!
I am curious, how do you know the endometriosis is dissolving? Is is because you are having some bleeding now? Endometriosis is not caused by blood clots as the makers of Endovan claim. There are several scientific theories about the origin of endometriosis, but that is not one of them. Any vaginal bleeding is not related to endometriosis implants. Endometriosis exists outside the body, and even if the implants dissolved there would be no way for them to be expelled vaginally.
Having a period on Endovan following an ablation may not be a good thing, so be sure to touch base with your doctor to make sure all is well. You should also discuss using Endovan with your doctor to make sure it is safe for you. Specifically, if you use Endovan you may need to discontinue any aspirin or fish oil products as there may be a blood clotting concern due to the main ingredient in Endovan. Some women have also experienced abdominal cramping and heart palpitations. There are no good studies of the supplement I can share with you.
Natural does not necessarily mean safe so be sure to use caution as with any new medication or supplement and stay in contact with your doctor.
Keep us posted!

Re: Surgery postponed
I was all cleared up from bleeding for a month or so after the ablation. After i started endovan, i had old brownish blood being discharged vaginally. I also had one day of bright red bleeding, not a lot, but enough... I also am not bloated like I was, so whatever it is doing, has me pain free, bloat free and happy.

Re: Surgery postponed
Just be careful and be sure your doctor knows you are using this product. The Endovan website warns that their claims have not been evaluated by the FDA, the product is not intended treat or cure any disease, and you need to be careful of the blood clotting issue.
