Questions about keeping ovaries

I am almost 5 weeks post op, I had an LSH and I kept both my cervix and my ovaries, however since my surgery I have had night sweats, hot flashes, emotional roller-coaster, acne, and exhaustion, to me this sounds like menopause. My doctor said since I got to keep my ovaries and cervix I could go into menopause naturally at a latter date, if that is the case what is going on now?

Re: Questions about keeping ovaries

maybe your body is just still recovering from the surgery (and the conditions that prompted your surgery) 5 weeks isn't really a very long time. think of all the medicines involved. are you drinking lots of water now? i usually have to remind myself.
