Premarin? Vivelle Dot? Libido problems

I have used the climara 1.25 patch and it was working but didnt stay on well. Always kept getting stuck to my clothes not to mention how hard it was to remove the excess glue when you removed it. I was given a prescription for Vivelle but never filled it due to cost. Does it help with libido? They put me on premarin 0.3 and it didnt seem to help much. I just have no interest in it. I kinda feel sorry for bmy longterm boyfriend.

I'm on .1 Vivelle Dot (one month) and I still have desire. I'm four and a half weeks post op and I can't wait to be released for some fun! I know, TMI.

Re: Premarin? Vivelle Dot? Libido problems

I am on vivelle dot .1mg and have been since two weeks postop. I have no problems with it staying on and I am in the pool almost daily. My only problem with it is maybe just more with taking estrogen than the actual patch but the past three weeks I have been getting migraines almost daily, dr said it was from the hormones and gave me a percription I can take as needed for the migraines. So we are working on that issue other than that no other real problems with the patch. As for sex my drive is the same but we now have to use lube and never had to before in the seven years we have been married but we are learning to work with it and enjoy the fun again. Hope my rambling helped a little. There is a free one month trial for the vivelle patch you can try it first, with my insurance I pay $35 a month for my vivelle patches and now $5 every three weeks for migraine pills. Its working so far for me wish you the best of luck

Re: Premarin? Vivelle Dot? Libido problems

The pharmacist at Walgreens told me in as little as a week you will know whether it works.

Also I forgot to mention I am on the generic Celexa for heart palpitations but it has also helped with my anxiety and stress. So that may be part of the reason I feel good lol. But I have definitely noticed my hormones level out.
