Uncooperative Bladder & Underwear Question/ 3 Weeks Post Op

Exactly 3 weeks in fact. Textbook perfect daVinci surgery Jul 3. I had the luxury of really putting on the brakes for the first 10 days. Back to my desk job Jul 13. Still resting after work with early supper and bed BUT I did do a major fridge/freezer clean over the weekend and yesterday and especially today, I am one big achy swelly belly and my bladder is still uncooperative. I could use some advise on getting the bladder to empty with enthusiasm ( more water pressure, so to speak). And would a support panty be good for my tummy or would it smush me?

Hello, I'm sorry you had to go back to work so soon, I can't imagine how hard that must have been. I had smelly belly for about 5 weeks and couldn't stand anything tight on it. Some ladies like the belly binders though. As for the bladder, mine was the same way and I thought something was majorly wrong. I spoke with my doctor at my 2 week check-up about it and he said it would get better. The surgery put some trauma on it and it got better at about 5 or 6 weeks .Normal now. I had my surgery May 8. Good luck, you sound like you are doing really good.
