I'm brand new here and had abdominal hysterectomy then 7 years later they removed both ovaries and tubes. I also have endo and IC as well as adhesions. I still spot every month and its the chocolate ovary type blood and swear it feels like there's part of an ovary there everyone except my husband says it's impossible PLEASE tell me more about Ors or Orp And which kind of Dr fixes it

Re: Still spot every month

ORS,Ovarian Remnant Syndrome, is a condition where a bit of ovary was left and it has grown. It can then produce hormones and can even allow for cysts. It can be detected with an ultrasound so talk to your doctor if you suspect you have it.

With an endometriosis diagnosis, your pain and symptoms could also be related to some remaining endometriosis and/or adhesions and/or issues with your vaginal cuff.

IC can also cause bleeding and pain.

Are you keeping a symptom diary? This can be important for figuring out what might be going on for you.

in there and make an appointment to talk to your doctor.

Re: Still spot every month

Have you still got your cervix? I chose to keep mine and prior to the op the doctor said when leaving the cervix, it can cause monthly spotting. I had both ovaries removed, but even so he said this could happen. Have you had the spotting since your hysterectomy or just since your ovaries were removed?
