Urinary incontinence is one sympton. You may feel pressure or swelling or have trouble emptying your bladder which can lead to frequent UTI's.

Here are a couple of articles on this site about pelvic floor prolapse

Re: Pelvic Floor Question

Thank you. I don't think I need to worry just yet. I do need to schedule my annual exam soon, though. Been putting it off with a busy work schedule and a difficult teenager.

Re: Pelvic Floor Question

Arg, my post just went poof! I never had any incontinence or pain with mine. Just protruded through my bladder and I felt like I was walking with an egg or ball between my legs. I'd get pressure after walking for awhile or something like that. It actually took 6 years for it to get to the point of needing something done!

Re: Pelvic Floor Question

I agree with the posters above. Additionally, I could feel my bladder poking out a little right at the entrance of my vagina. No fun.... Good luck!
