Combi patch VS C-Biest ???

i had a bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy on may 30th and i was put on the cream C-Biest 3.75(50\50)/NP150 MG HR by my surgeon because she said she wanted to do natural hormones since i was young. i had horrible hot flashes and mood swings before i started the cream. so i used the cream for two weeks until my coworker referred me to a hormone specialist that she used to work for. he said the cream wasnt giving me enough estrogen and he put me on the Combipatch .05/.14 Dis Novartis and gave me a testosterone injection. havent had any hot flashes recently and mood isnt too bad. but i have a lot of ache and hair loss. oh, and weight gain.

went to see the surgeon today and she said that she could have given me the patch if she wanted to but instead she wanted to do something safer for me and that the patch can cause heart disease in the long run. she also said that i shouldnt have gotten that testosterone shot either and that she would eventually put it into the compound because the injection is too much at one time. the hormone doctor told me that the shot would help with my libdo.

i am very confused to what i should do. do i listen to my surgeon or the hormone doctor? my surgeon also specializes in hormones as well. i think i would prefer to go all natural but i dont want to go down that road with the mood swings and hot flashes because im doing so good right now. i cant say if the cream did or didnt work because i only tried it for two weeks and switched to the patch. so could it be a combination of the cream and the patch that regulated it?

if anyone could tell me how theyre doing with their patch or cream that would help too. please and thank you in advance!

Re: Combi patch VS C-Biest ???

So far the combi patch has worked best for me. I've tried Estratest pills and a compounded drop and my body just didn't respond as well to them. My gyno has been working with me to find a good balance, but I keep going back to the patch.
The Estratest pills made me very irritable and my skin was breaking out horribly. I also gained 10 pounds in 6 weeks. The drops were just too hard to get a good balance. Two drops wasn't enough and three was too much.
