Hit like a ton of bricks

Im six months out. I had my surgery last December. Between then and now, Ive had a lot of loss (a great aunt, my apartment, a couple close friends and family who flaked out on me). Just recently, I sat down to do my yoga and all that loss hit me all at once! I felt so empty. Im SO blessed, I have so much good in my life, but I really wanted children. I dont understand.
I had huge fibroids that kept growing back. Also, during the surgery, the doctor realized that my uterus had multiple adhesions to my intestines. So, in my HEAD, logically, medically, I understand that it was better for me to have the procedure done. But when I see my first cousins with their grandchildren and my Godchildren at their proms and sweet sixteens, I just want to lay down on the floor and cry. I feel like my whole future is gone.
Thanks for listening/ reading.

Re: Hit like a ton of bricks

Thank you. I noticed that you are several years out. Does the grief part get better? It seems really intense right now.
