Advice Please

Good morning, I am 35 years old. I had a baby 11 months ago and since then my periods have been long, I have had blood clots, pain and ovarian cysts that burst. My doctor recommended and said that I was a perfect candidate for a Vaginal Hysterectomy. Of course I am worried and I am trying to gather all the information that I can. So any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I would talk to your doctor and explore alternative treatment options. A hysterectomy is major surgery and can have some complications and once it is done there is no turning back. I would only do the hysterectomy if you have explored other options. If your doc has reasons why he doesn't want you to do other options I'd get another opinion before doing a hysterectomy.
