TAH incision site blood

I had my surgery Thursday, was discharged from the hospital today. It was a rough ride home, coupled with a rough time to pick up my meds. I noticed some small blotches of fresh blood at my incision site. Nothing out of the new "ordinary" as far as pain. Is this normal???

It's probably nothing. You might check in with your doctor on Monday, but a little spotting once you're moving around is no big deal. It's heavy bleeding that you have to worry about.

It's great to be home though, isn't it?

It's absolutely wonderful to be home!!! I've just gotta stop trying to be Superwoman...
