has anyone had these same problems? Please help

Ok, so my doc had suggested a hysterectomy in April, but I didn't go through with it, instead opting for an endometrial biopsy/cone biopsy first...when that came out normal & I was still having difficulty I opted to have exploratory surgery (I had a hysteroscopy, pelviscopy, d&c, "novasure" ablation and lysis of adhesions as my fallopian tube on the right had adhered to my abdomen on April 23rd). All was going fine (limited abdominal pain, etc) till I developed severe cramps a few days ago & went to the ER....On CT scan it showed a 8.8mm "thick" endometrium, 2 fibroids ~ one 1.8 cm and the other 2.2 cm, and additionally a 3.8cm adnexal mass....and not only am I scared but worried about what my dr might say...since I've felt awful for some time now (fatigue, lower back pain & also learned that I have a partial prolapse of my urethra...ughhh) If you've ever been in my shoes (or even if you've just had a few things "go wrong" please feel free to chime in...I'm only 39, but am totally done having kids so I'm just concerned now with my quality of life issues that are taking an excessive toll on me now....Love and Peace...Linda

Re: has anyone had these same problems? Please help

We have some of the same things going on...I have had 2 c-sections, tubes tied, LEEP, ablations x 2 and recently told I have a 4 cm fibroid, 2 endometrial cysts and a 17 mm endometrium, I go tues for a second opinion. My visit with my regular ob/gyn told me he was sure I just had an infection that was causing debilitating labor type pain that is cyclic, irregular brownish discharge, back pain and a full bloated feeling all the time...and just not feeling good. I am 41, and like you am tired of being sick and tired....I am nervous but so ready for tues....I don't have any words of wisdom for you right now, but know we are in a similer boat and I will update you tues evening as to what my 2nd opinion advises. In the mean time I guess we just keep on making it through the day! Hang in there!

Re: has anyone had these same problems? Please help

Good luck on Tuesday! I'm going to try and go in to my GYN this week to see whats up either way....just really wish there were more answers as to why this is happening! All I do know is I had a c-section (twins) in 2005 with bilateral tubal ligation done at the same time and have had my life turned upside down since....ie: gone from "normal periods" to crazy heavy ones, from never having ovarian cysts to having a right side ovarian cycstectomy for a cyst that was always there and painful.... now I have this stupid adnexal mass & thick endo....causing misery. I'm just glad I had the ablation as I havent had my period since or been anemic either....I just havent felt well in a long time & am sick of narcotic pain pills....oh well.....back to the drawing board I guess
