Brown Vaginal Bleeding

I have had two doctors examine me. They both are concerned about the brown vaginal bleeding. I am having a hysterectomy on the 20th of this month. Is this a sign of Cancer? The doctor told me they were checking for cancer. They found a place on my right ovary and one of my left. Then also a place on my uterus and fluid in my uterus. I usually bleed every week or few days. It has just fianlly stoped for a week and half now. Anyhow anyone out there that has had cancer have brown bleeding?

Re: Brown Vaginal Bleeding

I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer due to irregular brownish bleeding. I bled for months off and on. D&C confirmed cancer, stage 1. My hysterectomy got all the cancer (so far) and I have no other treatments for right now. I will be checked every 6 months. They will be able to tell during surgery when a pathology is done. Hang in there. Just because it was cancer for me does NOT mean that it will be for you. Hugs to you! Keep us informed. Check out the cancer concern forum. I think you will find it comforting and helpful. Not every cancer diagnosis means doom and gloom.

Re: Brown Vaginal Bleeding

Hang in there. My endometrial biopsy was clear - no cancer, and I've had brownish blood.
