Some things I learned or it is just all in My Head!

I never anymore rub my OTC Progesterone Creme on for a least a hour after inserting my vaginal Estrodial. I noticed that when I did at the same time it would kick in something but it wasn't fun hard to explain. I skipped worrying about my weight gain til I had my HRT figured out. Nough stress without that throwed in. Weight came off in the end. Plus it was at the bottom of the scale as to what was important in life at the time. Take my calcium pill at night makes a big difference in my sleep. Learn to breath when I know what my stressors are now. Also, I will always have the anxiety and panic attacks but they are down to 1% of my life now. I figure this is God just keeping me humble and it is working.
Like always everyone is different these are just little tweaks I found for myself.

Thanks! That's interesting about the calcium at night making a difference in your sleep.

Great observations. I like the weight one and calcium one.

Another thing I've learned is don't get discouraged... it seems to take a few weeks for me to notice improvement after adjusting doses... or a few weeks to know if they're working... Before I'd get discouraged after a few days but I have to remind myself it can take weeks for our bodies to adjust....

Also a lot of the strain of the HRT was taken off when my was unconcerned that my E level was around 500. So, I wasn't worrying anymore about having to cut back I think that made a big difference. So I have been constant on .75mg total for the day. for a 6 or 8 months have to look that one up. I still get the anxiety but only after having a stressor day. I will just say that I do- .50mg in the am and the .25 in pm, along with 1tsp of OTC P in the am and the 1/2tsp before bed.
