Hysterectomy put on hold 3 times, now facing new problems... Will it finally happen??

Its been a wild ride..
Bit of History- Was scheduled for a complete Hysterectomy (for prolapse issues) in 2004, doc decided organs looked healthy to remove so he tied the tubes did the repairs and closed up... Then in 2007 started having issues with prolapse again so GYN, said its time once again to schedule the hysterectomy. After to 2 failed attempts with the schedule between the hospital and doctor I gave up. In 2010, new GYN & new Uro-Gyn (last GYN up and dissappeared) and new hospital, it looks like everything will finally happen, then the hospital and insurance company part ways. Cancelled yet again!!!

Now, at 41, I finally have another new GYN, first appointment on Thursday, and now my body decides to change. My SIL says I'm one of the lucky ones, my cycles have always been "normal". And now this....

I just started my 3rd period within the last 40 days. At times I feel like I'm having back labor and at times the cramps just double me over. And when I'm not bleeding, if I have BM, I start spotting (red not brown blood). Not sure what the heck is going on...hoping maybe its just menopause starting, at least that is what my MIL and close friend thinks.. but something just doesn't feel right.. Getting a bit freaked out, especially after reviewing some articles on the internet...
