Alternative treatments for hotflashes any ideas?

HI I've already posted on the no-hormone jungle looking for ideas with no success. I cannot take hrt and am having terrible night sweats. Has anyone here tried: black cohosh, red clover, acupuncture or other alternative treatments with success? Please any input appreciated. I already take vit e and other vitamins. Thanks-Donna

If you go to this link www.hormonejungle.com and then go to the pulldown menu and scroll down you will find some articles on black cohosh and red clover. I have not experience with them myself but have heard that some ladies have and it has helped

Hi Donna, I went off HRT for several weeks last year and during that time I used black cohosh and several supplements. I did not have any hotflashes during that time. Hope you find some relief soon.
