Sudden fever

I am almost 2 years out. All pap and exams have been good. Today out of the blue I started shivering and ended up with a fever of 101.5. I slept and took ibuprofen. I am still feverish. Should I be worried. This is so not normal for me

Re: Sudden fever

I'd call the Dr in the morning to get checked out. It is most likely an infection of some sort, cancer is unlikely. But you do sound sick so I wouldn't let it go. I hope you feel better soon.

Re: Sudden fever

It does seem like an odd initial presentation for something cancer related. But, I agree that a call to your doc is probably a good idea. (((Feel better!)))

Re: Sudden fever

The really weird thing is I just finished listening to "Stephen King's The Stand". 47 hours of a deadly flu out break. This timing is definely strange.

Lol. Things always happen to me like that too. I wouldn't think it would be a sign of cancer. But its definitely a sign of something. I hardly ever have a fever if I do its usually very low grade. So that temp would worry me too. I sure hope its not like the stand. I'd prob be one of the idiots going to vegas or end up with being the one spelling everything "M-O-O-N". I just recently was talkin bout needing new tire. I had a flat 30mins later. Hang in there. Good thing is I don't know of anybody round here having a high fever. That's a good sign.
