Any Sister with scar tissue after TVH?

Hi Sisters,

I posted a few weeks ago about this as well...this is a follow-up of sorts. I am almost 3 months post-op TVH. Initial recovery went well, except for contracting pneumonia at 3 weeks post-op My 4-week post op check went well.

At about 7 weeks (July 30), I started with a left-side pain just above the pubic bone. (Left ovary was removed, right one remains). Urine positive for blood and infection from that point on until it tested clean on August 24. I had 2 rounds of antibiotics to clear that up. With the 2nd round of antibiotics I was given Tylenol 3 for the pain (after an ER visit diagnosed the 2nd UTI). The pain remained even after my urine was clear, and even while taking Tylenol 3.

A vaginal ultrasound has cleared me of any major pockets of infection. Dr. suggests it could be "nerve that healed wrong" or adhesions/scar tissue. The only way to diagnose scar tissue is a Laparoscopy, which I don't want to do if its not necessary.

I have been getting chiropractic adjustments and had a deep therapy massage to try to fix this naturally. I go back next week for another massage. The pain seems to subside some days (only about 4/10), but then there are still times it takes my breath away at an 8/10. Nothing makes it hurt more or less.

Has anyone had any experience with scar tissue? What did it feel like? I want to do everything possible to avoid having a laparoscopy! I had a D & C for heavy bleeding in February, hysterectomy in June, and I don't want a 3rd surgery.

I should add....that in soooo many other ways I do feel better! I'd say my energy level is about 50% most days. I am able to walk and stretch, and do light housework. I just would like to get to the point of being pain-free.

Thank you for your support, Sisters!

Re: Any Sister with scar tissue after TVH?

Forgot to add...some Sisters suggested Interstitial Cystitis. I have tried an elimination diet for a few weeks regarding that with no success. The only symptom I have is pain, there were never any other urinary symptoms.
