Hi! I'm confused and thought if ANYONE would know, that ONE would be here somewhere. This is my question...I'm having EVERYTHING cleared out except the cervix. What kind of hysterectomy do they call that?

IF you will have abdominal surgery, then you will have a Subtotal, or Supracervical, Abdominal Hysterectomy (removal of uterus leaving the cervix intact) - Bilateral Salpingoopherectomy (removal of both tubes and ovaries).
