Pre OP finished

I feel really bad talking about how everything went today after reading what everyone else has been saying this pm. But because of all that I have read and what everyone on this website has answered for me, I feel like everything went wonderful, I am nervous but just a little bit....I'm sure it will get worse a little closer to my date like this weekend, but my dr is wonderful and all the people in the hospital I met today were soooo sweet and feeling. Again I really want to thank all of you for your support and being there for each of us....this is really a hard decision to make and such a big step.

I'm ready and waiting to go!!!

It's great that you had a good visit today. I'm sorry if my panic attack in the earlier post scared you. I am sure my preops will be smooth too. I think it' might be easier on women to have the preopps done and over with a week before. My problem is it's all scheduled the day before, gives me more time to worry.

I'm sorry you feel soo panicked....every situation is different, it sounds as if my kids are older and I really don't care what is going on with my dh right now, I'm just glad to be getting things taken care of.....just tired of the problems. If I had to I'd leave my kids at home by themselves because they are old enough, I just wish I could help you more because I know how it is to be freaking out over something. I was going to tell you to let calgon take you away.....just lock the door and relax....light a few candles, turn on some conforting music and enjoy and don't think of anything else but relaxing!

Mary, I'm glad everything went well! That's one less worry! You are going to do great with your surgery, I just know it. I'm thinkin' of ya everyday and guess what, your surgery is on my dad's 50th b-day. A good omen!! I'll keep you in my prayers.
