Question - problems with reaching climax - don't want to use hrt problems with reaching climax - don't want to use hrt

I am post op 7 months. It just takes me forever to climax i usually give up. Which makes my wonderful hubby feel like he is doing something wrong and i hate that. But when i do orgasm it is great just like it was before i had surgery probably better because i am not in pain any more durring sex. I had everything taken out but both ovaries with rectile and some other repairs. every article i have read says to start some type of hormone repacement i dont want to start taking any medication!!! does anyone have any suggestions??

Re: problems with reaching climax - don't want to use hrt

Hi danielle1985

I've been wondering the same. It takes me longer to orgasm too and I'm wondering whether to try an enhancement gel - with reviews saying how it speeds things up!

Not sure I'm brave enough though - not the sort of thing I usually talk about

I'll keep an eye on this thread though incase anyone else suggests anything

Me too and I am 9 months post op. I got a gel at the health food store and it does help. It is called Ultra Arous. It takes me longer and feels strange. I am hoping it gets better as my nerves continue to heal. It feels more mechanical to me now.

So I guess I'm normal, but it wasn't mentioned before surgery.

The only upside is because I seem less sensitive than before I can carry on after one and now have multiple
