God was with me Mon. for blood tests, no seizure

Well I made it through my blood tests on Mon. and I didn't faint or have seizures. I was blessed with a Christian lady who was very kind to me. She took me into another room that had a bed to lay down instead of sitting up to take blood. She new I was scared and kept talking to me the whole time she took three tubes of blood. As soon as she asked a question and I answered it and she quickly asked another. When she asked me if I had a long pregnancy I told her it was only 4 hours long. I told her God new I couldn't handle more than that, along with my fear of needles and Doctors, ect. She new I was a Christian then and said God gives us the strength and through God all things are possible. I was teary eyed after that. She was so nice! Now for the hard part! Friday is right around the corner. My poor belly is a mess. I get a tummy ache after everything I eat. I don't know what I'm more afraid of. The iv or the pain I will feel when I wake up from surgery. YIKES! I'm so nervous!

That's good news!

I'm so glad that you made it through getting blood taken. It sounds like God gave you the perfect person to help you out. It is amazing how that happens.

I'm sure he will do the same for your surgery.

Brandi

P.S. - Please pray for me. My pre-opt is tomorrow and I'm not fond of needles either.

Ladies, ask them if they can use a smaller needle.

We get blood sticks on animals routinely with 22 and 25 g needles, even when we have two tubes full to draw.

I have felt the difference between these and the usual "human" size 18 and up and it makes a world of difference. Nobody wants to use the small ones but a lot of times there is no reason they can't. Those big suckers HURT!

LOL -- the technician who first used one of the comfortable smaller ones on me used to work in a vet office!

Hi Brandy

I will pray for you and did last night also. I will pray God sends you an angel like He did for me. Good luck
