Dr. appt

Hi Sisters,

Well I guess now I can officially say.... I am going to be a princess... My dr appt. was yesterday and with another ultrasound and him telling me that I have adenomyosis (which I am still reading all the literature on that) I have decided that I have to do something soon the bleeding and pain and all the frustration I am having with having a period 24/7 I am going to go crazy. He suggests that I keep my ovaries and just get rid of the uterus and cervix. I had crazy dreams last night already and I won't know the date until next week. He does surgery on Wed.'s so he said most likely the week of the 11th of Mar. Even though I know this is what I should do and me and dh have discussed that this is best it is still scary
So I know I will be bugging all of you for the lists of things I need and just plain moral support since I am new here I'm sure I haven't seen or read all of the questions that I will have. If anyone can tell me things that I need to do ahead of time or things to start getting for hospital stay since I probably have only about 3 weeks I should get started with preparing my hospital bag!!

Sorry for rambling on but I guess it's just the jitters and my emotions going crazy right now. I am soooo happy I found this site and I'm going to order me the tummy pillow because it looks like I'll need it huh?

hi rox

On Wednesday I will be 12 weeks post-op, I had a TVH. My recovery has been good, havent had any problems.

One thing that I did before entering the hospital is cook and freeze meals. I have 3 kids and a DH, so that was one thing they didnt have to worry about for at least 2 weeks.

I had to be put into hospital 3 days before my surgery to be taken off all my medications. One thing I thought of because of the extended visit was I ask for the ladies to send me there best wishes so I could print them out and read them when I felt nervous or down.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Big Hugs
