Thank you to doctor?

My doctor has been so great. He has always listened to me and never once tried to tell me my pain is in my head. He has done everything he can to help me. He is a very dedicated doctor. I hear nothing but good things about him from nurses. He has been my doctor for 2 1/2 years and I really like him. I want to show my appreciation to him. Have any of you given your doctor a gift of appreciation after the surgery? What did you give him/her? What about the nurses?

Thanks in advance

Thank you to doctor?

I am so glad you have a caring Dr. Mine is the same way! And how sweet of you to think about showing your Dr appreciation!!!

I think a HS mug would be a WONDERFUL gift to give your Dr. You could fill it with different types of coffee, tea, chocolate, just about anything really...I bet that would be a quite unique gift, and one that he would not already have! You can get an HS mug buy clicking on the "store" icon.

As for the nurses, I bought the whole floor a couple boxes of chocolates and a few bags of hard candy. I saw how short handed they were when I was there, I thought it would be nice to get them something to munch on....and what better to munch on then : LOL

Please let us know what you decide to do.

Thank you to doctor?

I recently read an article written by a doctor. He said the thank yous that meant the most to him were the handwritten ones. While it is very nice to send a gift if you can, the most meaningful thing you can do is to take the time to write a note. Apparently, the doctors rarely receive thank yous of any kind.
