Tell me this will get better

I have 27 days to go before surgery and a Bat Mitzvah to host on March 16. Have 4 monster fibroids they feel like monsters anyway--plus pelvic pressure and pain. Feels like someone has their finger up by butt and pumping air in my stomach at the same time. Sorry to be so graphic. Running to the bathroom to pee and frequent bm's are driving me crazy. Thought getting my period today would help with the pain and pressure. I guess being on bc pills made the flow GO AWAY OR STAY INSIDE. BACK PAIN IS uncomfortable. Slept with heating pad all day. Called and no response. Just tell me it gets better when everything comes out!

Hi, MooCow,

I'm sorry your fibroids have made you so uncomfortable. Before my surgery, my biggest complaints were very heavy nonstop bleeding, and tailbone pain (caused by fibroids.) I could barely stand to sit down, and bled heavily unless I was lying down.

I can't guarantee the results of your surgery. But I can tell you that my hysterectomy helped me! I can now sit or stand all day, and it doesn't hurt anymore! I hope your surgery will help you as much.

27 days to go...I'll keep you in my prayers.

Sending healing hugs,
Helen
