Help!

Hello everyone!
I was searching the net for Hysterectomy info and found this site. I had had surgery previously to remove firbroids and now they are back with a vengence. I have an enlarged uterus (twice the size it should be), with pelvic pain, back pain, heavy periods and all the rest. I go back to the doctor next week to discuss hysterectomy and want to be well prepared! Any help you guys can offer will be greatly appreciated!
Not scared, just nervous. I have had two c-sections, is recovery worse than that?

Help!

Most doctors and women feel that a hysterectomy is a more difficult surgery to recover from, even though you don't have a baby to care for. My experience was that hysterectomy was slightly easier than my 2 C sections, but not by much.

Help!

Teresa, I spent a lot of time just cruising the pre-op and post-op threads, and reading the drop-down menu areas. There is so much information here! I couldn't be better prepared for what's to come.

And the ladies here have been very patient with repeated threads, so don't worry about asking a question that's been asked before.

Good luck to you!

s,

Melissa
