Endo -second thoughts TAH/BSO

Dear Stacey,
Oh, my! I really hope there is nothing wrong with your breast. What a horrible shock that must have been.

It sounds like you've really made the rounds with the docs (I did too) and they all concur that you need this surgery. It's reassuring, but it's still hard to come to terms with this decision. My thoughts and prayers are with you. With just about two weeks to go, you won't have too much time to be a LIW and maybe that's a good thing. Try to stay focused on how much better you will feel a few weeks after surgery. This can be so life-changing for you! It was for me.

We'll be with you every step of the way!

Beth

Arden

Hi Everyone,

I came out of the castle yesterday, March 7th, my 35th Birthday and I am feeling so good already!!

I am not going to be too long. The surgery went very well, and I did ask my dr. to try to save anything he can. Well, Unfortunately with a 10cm endo cyst on my left and three 8cm cysts on my right ovaries, there wasn't anything my dr. could save. He even had to take out my appendix because it was stuck to everything else. My dr. said everything was like cement in my belly and thanks to God I did the surgery sooner than later. Thank God also it was not cancer.

Stacy, I think since (3) drs. came up with the same conclusion, you should go ahead and have the surgery. You were right when you say you think half the battle is making the decision, it was the same for me. Also, I hope the mammogram comes back with nothing wrong.

You can write me anytime, I will post regular updates about how I feel.

Good luck and God's Richest Blessings to you all!!

Arden

p.s. Remember to never have negative feelings in your heart about yourself. Always think positive things and positive things will happen to you. Believe in the healing power of your mind.
