Breast Cancer Stamps

Just wanted to spread the word: The US Postal Service is selling postage stamps entitled "Fund The Cure." These stamps sell for 40 cents each, 6 cents more than a regular stamp. These stamps were designed by a lady named Ethel Kessler of Bethesda, MD. The extra 6 cents from each stamp sold will go to fund cancer research. A regular book of stamps cost $6.80. A book of breast cancer stamps is $8.00. Just $1.20 more. If all the available stamps are sold, it will raise $16,000,000. A lot of us have lost mothers, sisters, and even daughters to this terrible illness. If you're interested, please pass on this info to people you know. Thanks!

Kathy, this is a wonderful cause. One of the things I need today is a book of stamps. Thanks for the reminder.....I'll be asking for the Breast Cancer awareness stamps. This message deserves a to the top and I'm going to copy it so it will also be read the Cancer Concers forum. I'm also copying it to the No Hormone Desert Oasis, as many women who post there are breast cancer survivors.
