Am scheduled for April 16. Don't know what to expect (the real stuff not what the Dr.s tell you) Any advice on how to get through this without going bonkers beforehand?

Hi There!

I think you are in the right place! There is so much to read here, about other ladies' experiences.

Perhaps you could start on the home page of the site (click on the 3 princesses at the top left hand side of this page) and check out the pull-down menus. Ladies In Waiting is a great section to look at for getting prepared for your castle visit, and Princesses Tell Their Stories is a great place to get an idea of what happens while in the castle.

Please keep reading! I know it helped me tremendously!

I'm fairly new to this site also, but it has helped me tremendously.Make sure you read the information and
experiences of the princesses. Good luck to you.

Welcome to the best place around for information, support and s!!

I had my TAH/BSO one year ago yesterday, and I know what kept me from going bonkers...this site! I've been here EVERY day since then...before, during and after surgery. The support and help here is just amazing. I'd recommend making this a major habit.

Keep posting, keep reading, ask all your questions, stop in to Chat in the evenings, and you'll be ready by the time your date rolls around!

So happy you found us!
