2 wk check up,getting nervous
going to my 2 wk check up on wed. and hoping it will go well, can anybody out there tell me it is going to be like? is the dr going to poke and prod around the vaginal area and will he do a pelvic examine? not sure what to expect, could someone shed some light on this subject for me before i face the man in the mask?
also has anyone had night sweats? i had them for 3 nights in row,
drenched myself and my pillow, wow what a swim in the middle of the night.
well better go am going for a car ride today just to get out the house, not long but it will be enjoyable.
thank you so much for such a wonderful site and such wonderful ladies who all share the same thing in common, being a princess.
thank you, lynnette

2 wk check up,getting nervous
Hi Lynnette!
I had a 1-week checkup and a 6-week checkup.
During the 1-week check, the DR removed my staples, and that was pretty much it.
The 6-week included a pelvic exam. It varies as to what your DR will need to do during your 2-week exam; try not to worry; the DR is surely not there to hurt you.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to ask him about your symptoms and discuss options available to you in the form of supplements or the like.
About the car ride, please take your tummy pillow to place between you and the seatbelt! You'll thank me later for this advice!

2 wk check up,getting nervous
I will be going for my 2 week post-op checkup on the 15th. I asked when they were taking out my staples what they will be doing.
Answering questions, checking my incison. That's it!
At the 6 week they will be doing a manual exam, and answering more questions.
I know I will be asking a few!
It's okay, they won't hurt you girlie!! I promise! If you are really anxious about it, call the doc office and ask them. I'm sure they will tell you what to expect.
Good luck!
Sara
