I guess I am ready for tomorrow

Had a wonderful pre-op appt today. My doc was so sweet and he made me feel so comfortable about everything. He took the time to answer my questions and gave me a huge packet of info to take home. He said I will be given a shot of estrogen in the recovery room to peak my estrogen level then I will start on an oral dose. Never got a babysitter so I will be on my own for a while. I'm OK with that. I worry about my DH worrying about me but when he is with me he makes me worry more about him because I can see the fear in his eyes. I think I am also getting my period, can you believe that!? I haven't had one in 2 months so I am due and the pain is almost unbearable. How ironic. The groceries are stocked, the laundry is just about done, the house has been cleaned from top to bottom. I just need to pack.

Also, want to wish all those going to the castle tomorrow a safe surgery.

See you on the other side!

I guess I am ready for tomorrow

Hi, JoAnn -

Sounds like you're well prepared!! Get up and walk a little as soon as they'll let you and drink lots of fluids.

Nature's little sense of humor - I had my last period as I went in, too! But this one was real short, 'cause it ended the day of the surgery :-).

Look forward to hearing your report when you get home!

My prayers are with you

JoAnn, I will be thinking of you tomorrow and I'll also be in prayer for you. I wish you a speedy recovery. I hope dh does well too. My dh is also nervous, my surgery is the 20th. And I haven't even started on my house yet. Oh no..... Blessings to you, In Christ, Mikki
