Give it a try~

Hey Ladies in waiting,

I know that this may not help everyone but.................... I was so uptight, ready to explode, felt like crying my eyes out. DH and I got into a LITTLE (NOT over surgery) and low and behold I cried and cried. Ever since, I have felt atleast 50% better. My nerves have settled somewhat and I am not near as uptight as I was. So, Ladies, it was a great release for me. If you have a DH that can sit with you, let it all out. I don't know if it will work for all of you, this is just my opinion! So, anyway we ended up getting really and everything was over. I felt so relieved!

I go for pre-op in the morning and to the castle on Monday at 6 a.m. I do dread it but I feel now that I can handle it a little better than breaking down at the hospital while waiting!!!!!!! Hang in there!!!!!!!

Give It A Try!

Oh Cheryl!

Sometimes everything before surgery will affect everyone. I think what you did may have helped you as well as your dh. I feel that was a great way to get some "stress" off your shoulders. I'm glad you are feeling better and BEST OF LUCK on your surgery tomorrow. You will feel SOOOOOOOO MUCHHHHH better once it is all over. Hugs coming your way!

Hey

Hey Marney,

I see you are from Camden, Mo! I used to live in Desloge, Mo. (I think is now called Park Hills, MO?)
Neat 'o!

Thanks for your words of comfort. I do know once all this is over I WILL feel better. I just worry about DH & DS surviving! They are pretty dependent of me......

Thanks for your words of comfort.

back at cha'!

Cheryl
I go for my pre opt at 9:30 in the moring too
I go in the hospital monday also
I don't know what time my surgery is yet but i will find out in the moring
I have not felt like crying yet but I am sure I will after tomorrow
I just can't wate to get this over with
I am so looking forward to being pamperd
but I am also worried about dh cause he can't cook or anything
when he wants to help me he always asks me were things are
like when he dose dishes he always ask where the dish soap is
little things like that or when he cleans house he ask me where things go
Now I tell him to figuer it out cause he will have to now
thanks for listening to me

ladypeewee - don't worry - your husband will survive :-) Mine did just fine fixing sandwiches and frozen dinners, and the dirt and dust is still sitting there (I'm trying to keep my eyes closed..hee hee).

I was definitely mobile enough when I got home to wander over to the washing machine and guide him as to which clothes to put where, and what button to push. It'll all work out, you'll see!

And Cheryl, I'm with you - crying can be a WONDERFUL release of stress!! Way better for your body than bottling it up, I think..

Ladypeewee & Alisa,

Well, today is the big pre-op day. I am really nervous today. Will be glad to get it over though. Now it is only 3 days from Castle date! :confuse: I guess we will make it......

God Bless & be with you!
