Sure you have heard it before

Hi I am sure those of you that are regular to this board have heard this before.....but here goes anyway. I had a TAH and my remaining ovary and tube removed 7-2000. I have been on cenestine 1.25mg since about 1 month post op with no problems.
Well until about a month ago. I am back to having night sweats and the dreaded insomnia. Can you develope a tolerance to HRT?? I know I need to call my DR but I just though I would check with my sisters to get their opinions about this. I am a firefighter/paramedic, and loose enough sleep at work. I don't need to do this at home too. I sit and watch my DH sleep so peacfully and it is driving me nuts. Some nights I can't get to sleep and others I wake up (wide awake) several times a night. I will not take sleeping pills. I have tried tylenol pm with no luck( 1 used to wipe me out for about 12 hours). Any suggestions or comments would be very welcome

Kim, ask your Dr. about progesterone, like prometrium. I really helps with sleep plus lots of other things. It is natural and like your body use to make. go to www.hormonejungle.com and read the articles on the pull down menu. Plus you can go to the FYI at the top of this forum on helpful hormone links. Hope you are snoozing soon.
